CODY

Cody Darrah comes from an accomplished racing family that includes his mother Kitty, a former local stock car winner. His uncle, Rick Eckert is a leading driver on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, and a former Pennsylvania dirt track legend.

“Racing is a family tradition in our family,” said Darrah. “If you were to go to my Grandparents house you’ll find pictures of all my aunts, and uncles, grandparents, even my great grandparents with checkered flags in their hands.”

Darrah got his start aboard micro-sprints at age 13 and then started racing 410 winged sprint cars at age 16 in the ultra-competitive, racing market of Central Pennsylvania at tracks like Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway.

After being sidelined in 2010 due to an injury, Darrah was forced to sit the entire season out for Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR). In his first full season with KKR, the youngster racked up over 15 top-10 finishes, picked up KSE Hard Charger award twice and won the 2011 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award as he finished 10th in the final series standings.

Darrah has six-career World of Outlaws Series wins and two of them have been scored at his home track of Williams Grove.

This year he has joined the Allstar Sprint Car Series www.allstarsprint.com . The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series, recently purchased by three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, today announced its 2015 tour dates. The schedule will consist of 54 total events spanning six states, including 29 events in Ohio and 14 in Pennsylvania.
